Riverbend Community Mental Health is seeking a strategic, forward-thinking, and mission-driven Director of Workplace Health & Safety to lead the vision, strategy, and continuous improvement of its facilities, safety, and environmental operations. This role is an opportunity to shape the environments where healing happens, ensuring Riverbend’s facilities are safe, resilient, compliant, and designed to support exceptional behavioral health services. As Riverbend expands under the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model, this role will be at the forefront of transforming physical infrastructure to meet evolving clinical needs, regulatory expectations, and organizational growth. The Director will ensure spaces are operationally excellent, welcoming, accessible, and built to support innovative models of care. As a key member of the leadership team, the Director will develop and execute organization-wide strategies integrating facilities management, workplace health and safety, emergency preparedness, environmental stewardship, and physical security. The goal is to create a culture where safety is embedded into every aspect of work, directly impacting care providers, the community, and Riverbend’s ability to provide high-quality, accessible behavioral health services.
