About The Position

Summary: This position is responsible for market development and project coordination relating to applications in assigned market(s). Essential Duties of the Job: The essential functions of this job require the person, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform the following: Assist Sr. Director Strategic Business Fields (SBF) to meet or exceed North American and market sales plans. Assist with forecast development for our sales territories and factories. Prepare price quotes for Customer Relations and Sales team including value added quotes.  Focus on special price/delivery requests for new projects.  For significant quotes, review with supervisor for approval. Act as Pricing Manager for assigned market(s) for SalesForce opportunities. Monitor changes in assigned market(s) and recommend strategies.  Assist in planning and implementation of strategies and monitor progress.   Includes tracking of competition in assigned market(s), preparation of competitive analyses, and recommendation of strategy against competition. Act as a liaison with the factories and other subsidiaries for special requests and quote coordination for global accounts in assigned market(s). Coordination of factory information (such as new product introduction, changes to existing products, new literature, etc.) with other SBF Directors and Application Engineers.  Each SBF Director is responsible for informing Field Sales of this information if products from assigned factory(s) are used in his/her market. Assist Marketing with product review for updating catalog/website/promotions/advertisements/social media posts. Provide product/market related technical papers as required. Coordinate special projects as needed.  Act as “go to” person for Field Sales and Sales Managers for special projects/requests. Build relationships and create team environment between departments (Application Engineering, Field Sales, Product Management, R&D, etc.).   Follow up with Sales on trade show & other leads in SalesForce. Assist with coordination of visits by factory personnel to North America as needed. Assist with customer visits/audits as required. Travel as required. Submit monthly reports to supervisor, due at the end of every month. Submit expense reports via Concur within one week of travel and/or misc. expenses. Provide sales call reports as needed. Represent the Company at trade shows and meetings and professional and organizational functions. Adhere to the Company’s Travel Policy. Perform all other duties as assigned.  

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or minimum five years related experience; or combination of education and experience.

  • Engineering and industry background is a plus, but not required.
