About The Position

Frostburg State University Athletics Department is hiring a full-time exempt Director of the Adams/Wyche Center for Academic Success. The position oversees programs related to student-athletes’ academic and athletic experiences and the daily operations of the Adams/Wyche Center, including staffing, reporting, and student-athlete monitoring. The Director develops, manages, and oversees programs intended to improve student-athlete academic performance, retention, personal development, and overall well-being. Duties must be carried out in accordance with University System of Maryland, Frostburg State University, NCAA, and conference affiliate policies and procedures. The position reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Academic Success and Student-Athlete Development. Salary is commensurate with experience, with a stated range of $49,000–$52,000, and a University System of Maryland benefits package is included. The position is funded in part through the NCAA Division II Strategic Alliance Matching Grant Program, which aims to enhance gender and ethnic minority representation in intercollegiate athletics. Responsibilities
