Director of Technology
About The Position
Hickman Mills C-1 School District is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Director of Technology to provide strategic leadership and hands-on technical direction for the District’s technology operations, infrastructure, and enterprise systems. The role leads the planning, implementation, integration, cybersecurity, and ongoing support of technology systems that advance district operations, support teaching and learning, and provide reliable, secure, and efficient technology services across schools and departments. The Director will combine technology leadership with practical technical problem-solving, overseeing technical teams, network and infrastructure operations, enterprise applications, system integrations, and sustainable technology solutions. The role balances strategic planning with technical expertise to keep the District’s technology environment reliable, scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational priorities. Compensation is on the Director salary schedule, with an annualized salary range of $88,230–$132,340, depending on years of similar leadership experience.
