About The Position

829 Studios is hiring a Director of Talent Acquisition to lead and scale its recruiting function. This is a player-coach role: the Director will personally recruit for strategic roles across sales, senior subject matter experts, and executive positions while managing, coaching, and developing the recruiting team. The role requires ownership of direct sourcing goals, the team’s recruiting strategy, and the systems and processes that support hiring growth. The Director will partner with senior leadership on workforce planning, hiring forecasts, and talent strategy tied to revenue and growth goals. They will bring market intelligence into planning, maintain an always-on talent pipeline, and personally manage full-cycle recruiting from intake through close for sales, strategic, and key executive roles. The role owns and improves recruiting processes in Ashby, reporting and dashboards, team KPIs, and evaluation and rollout of AI tools for sourcing, screening, and outreach. Success includes hitting sourcing and submission goals, filling roles against the headcount plan, improving time-to-fill, offer acceptance, and new-hire retention, developing and retaining recruiters, reducing reliance on outside agencies, and establishing a workforce-planning cadence with senior leadership. The position is remote, with the option to work from the Boston office or remotely from specified states. 829 Studios describes itself as a Boston-based integrated digital marketing agency and an equal opportunity employer.
