About The Position

TALENT ACQUISITION DIRECTOR IMA is seeking a dynamic, outcome and impact-focused Talent leader to architect the future: Drive business growth by shaping our talent pipeline and reimaging the Talent Acquisition function. One year from now, a successful leader in this role will have: Built and developed a high performing TA team that is internally and externally recognized, embraced technology to improve the candidate and associate experience, and continuously evolved to meet our growing business needs Established a pipeline of talent from across the insurance industry and built IMA’s employment brand, creating a high desire to join IMA Integrated talent acquisition into IMA’s broader talent strategy and long-range workforce plan Essential Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Lead and develop the Talent Acquisition team and build trusting relationships with business leaders and the HR function. Develop and execute a data-driven, multi-year talent acquisition strategy that supports our business goals and growth projections. Drive the entire recruitment process, including workforce planning, sourcing, hiring, and seamless handoff to onboarding. Integrate Talent Acquisition as a strategic pillar of our broader IMA workforce strategy for future growth. Ensure inclusive and equitable hiring practices are integrated into all talent acquisition activities. Leverage technology and outcome-based KPIs to improve efficiency and candidate experience.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated impact and results in talent acquisition in a dynamic, high-growth environment
  • Player/Coach mentality: A strategic mindset paired with hands-on operational execution skills
  • Learning agility and teamwork: Track record in building creative solutions in a highly competitive talent landscape
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing strong, collaborative teams
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to partner with stakeholders at all levels
  • Thorough understanding of federal and state laws regarding employment practices
  • Desire to grow knowledge and experience in other parts of Human Resources

Nice To Haves

  • Insurance industry experience highly preferred, but not required
