Job Summary: The Global Supply Chain Manager for Indirect Purchasing plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing global supply chain operations specific to indirect procurement within the battery factory. This position involves leadership, strategy development, and ensuring the efficient sourcing of indirect materials and services on a global scale.
Requirements
- 10 to 20 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field, preferably with experience in global supply chain management for indirect materials and services.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the global supply chain team for Indirect Purchasing, including procurement and vendor management.
- Develop and implement global supply chain strategies and initiatives to optimize efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability in the procurement of indirect materials and services.
- Collaborate with global suppliers and internal departments to ensure alignment of global supply chain operations with cost-saving objectives and sustainability goals.
- Identify, assess, and manage global supply chain risks related to indirect procurement, including potential disruptions and cost escalations.
- Monitor and optimize the indirect procurement process across global locations to achieve cost savings and efficiencies while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Manage relationships with global indirect material and service suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with quality and delivery standards.
- Oversee the development and implementation of global procurement strategies for indirect materials and services.
- Analyze global supply chain performance, KPIs, and data to drive continuous improvement efforts on a global scale for indirect procurement.
