About The Position

The Director of Supply Chain provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for procurement, planning, inventory management, and support supplier performance management. This role ensures the right materials are in the right place at the right time while working cross functionally to optimize cost, quality, delivery, and working capital to support company growth and operational excellence. The Director will also lead the Sales, Operations and Planning (S&OP) process ensuring alignment across design, demand, supply, finance, and commercial teams to support strategic decision-making and optimize business performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or technical discipline.
  • 10-15 years of experience leading teams in operations, supply chain, or S&OP leadership.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement, operational efficiency, and implementing best practices.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, proficient in utilizing metrics to drive decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CPC Strategic Sourcing team to develop and implement supply chain strategies and suppliers that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Develop and present key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand and supply planning.
  • Prepare and deliver reports to senior executives, highlighting KPIs, trends and actionable recommendations.
  • Analyze supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service levels, reduce total landed cost, and improve inventory turns.
  • Establish inventory targets that support customer service while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to ensure NPD phase gate alignment and product launch excellence.
  • Partner with senior leadership in executing the company-wide strategic roadmap to improve S&OP maturity.
  • Maintain and evolve the monthly S&OP cadence across the enterprise to gain alignment between cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
  • Lead the design and integrity of data transfer and actions among cross-functional stakeholders; Particular focus on the integration of the Finance function (FP&A) to support the development of a 24-month financial P&L supporting IOR and Executive S&OP meetings.
  • Coordinate information flow and escalation points for the IOR and Executive S&OP meetings.
  • Drive accountability across the organization and resolve functional performance or participation gaps.
  • Drive an unbiased decision-making process that balances supply and demand to meet L1 KPIs.
  • Train, lead, and mentor others in the S&OP process.
  • Help the organization make well-informed, effective, and timely decisions, even when data is limited.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business code of conduct and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Conduct reviews with team members to build effective communications, understand training and development needs, and provide insight to manage performance improvement.
  • Develop and facilitate comprehensive onboarding and new hire training for assigned team.
  • Build team unity to encourage retention, continuity of operations, and cross functional collaboration.
