About The Position

This role partners closely with executive leadership, operations, finance, land acquisition, sales, and marketing teams to identify and shape TJH’s growth strategy, optimize business performance, and enhance competitive positioning. This leader combines market intelligence, financial insight, and operational understanding to translate strategy into actionable initiatives that improve profitability, accelerate growth, and strengthen market share.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Construction Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of management consulting experience and experience in strategy, consulting, finance, or operations
  • Proficiency in MS Excel & PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Strong financial modeling, data analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Deep understanding of residential construction operations and economics
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Company’s market intelligence organization to assess market health, buyer behaviors, and pricing trends. Influence future enterprise market selection, prioritization, and exit decisions
  • Manage new market entry strategy, sizing, and go / no‑go recommendations supported by financial data and market intelligence. Design new data‑collection tools where insight gaps exist
  • Design and operate TJH’s stage gate process for new floorplan development, finish/finish evolution, and submarket entry
  • Analyze plan, elevation, option, and design‑package performance – create a framework to assess which plans belong where, which get developed, which get retired
  • Define what a TJH home should include at each price tier and submarket to justify its ASP
  • Partner with Design, Architecture, and Construction to guide product decisions
  • Define the TJH target consumer by market using data and behavioral insight
  • Design a cost-value framework distinguishing high-ROI spec investments (millwork, closets, landscaping) from areas to rationalize
  • Build and maintain a 1–3 year product innovation roadmap tied to market feedback and competitive intelligence
  • Track plan, option, and design‑package performance; connect sales outcomes back to product decisions – Integrate internal and external data into scalable models
  • Develop executive and Board‑level strategic narratives. Frame trade‑offs clearly and support disciplined decision‑making
