About The Position

We’re searching for a Director of Strategy & Finance who combines strong financial fluency with the strategic and operational judgment needed to help build an early-stage company. In this role, you’ll own financial planning and forecasting while leading high-priority, cross-functional initiatives across the business. You’ll bring structure to complex questions, translate financial insights into action, and help shape the company’s near- and long-term direction. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in a zero-to-one environment, enjoys working across functions, and is comfortable taking ownership wherever the business needs it most. The Director of Strategy & Finance will initially report to the CEO and collaborate closely with leaders across strategy, operations, finance, product, and clinical services.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in an operational role at an early-stage or high-growth healthcare company
• At least two to three years of experience in management consulting or investment banking
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical capabilities
• The ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous business challenges
• A willingness to take ownership of a wide range of strategic and operational initiatives
• Comfort working directly with senior leaders in a fast-moving, early-stage environment
• A collaborative, low-ego approach and genuine commitment to improving healthcare

Nice To Haves

• Private equity due diligence experience is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Define and lead high-priority strategic initiatives across the company
• Help design, build, and bring new products and services to market
• Support the development and expansion of the company’s clinical offerings
• Build scalable processes for payer contracting and provider credentialing
• Identify operational roadblocks and take ownership of solving them
• Step into new strategic and operational priorities as the company grows
• Partner with operations and senior leadership to develop and refine the company’s unit-economic model
• Lead budgeting and medium-term financial forecasting in partnership with senior leadership and the company’s accounting function
• Build financial analyses that support strategic and operational decision-making
• Prepare the company for future fundraising efforts
• Develop and refine the company’s long-range financial model, fundraising strategy, and investment narrative
