About The Position

This role is for a Director of Strategic Operations at Ascension Via Christi Hospitals in Wichita, KS, within the Administration department. The position is full-time, with day shifts, and is eligible for an annual bonus incentive. The Director will be responsible for mastering project execution and alignment, leading the creation and rollout of operational frameworks, designing cost-effective service models, spearheading performance assessments, and cultivating a modern workplace culture focused on retention, continuous learning, team satisfaction, and elevation.

Requirements

High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
Strong healthcare and strategic planning experience
2 or more years of leadership experience

Responsibilities

Own key operational projects end-to-end, steering cross-functional teams, managing milestones, and ensuring complete alignment to deliver initiatives on time and on budget.
Lead the creation and rollout of high-level operational frameworks that modernize business processes, drive scalable growth, and directly advance our strategic vision.
Design cost-effective, high-quality service models that maximize performance efficiency without compromising patient satisfaction.
Spearhead ongoing performance assessments, quality control practices, and cross-departmental integration to continuously elevate departmental standards.
Cultivate a modern workplace culture focused on retention, continuous learning, team satisfaction and elevation.
