About The Position

Millard Public Schools is seeking a Director of Special Education. This role involves designing, developing, and delivering programs and services for students with verified special needs. The position also includes evaluating programs, services, and personnel as assigned.

Requirements

• A six-year specialist degree in educational administration or the accepted equivalent is required.
• Appropriate NE Administrative Certification is required.
• Three years of experience in the administration of a special education program is required.
• Experience and leadership abilities in the area of special education.
• Sensitivity to the needs and objectives of the district.
• Ability to supervise and evaluate the work of others.

Nice To Haves

• A doctoral degree from an approved institution with a major in educational administration or the accepted equivalent is preferred.
• Four years of successful experience in the administration of a special education program is preferred.
