About The Position

Osaic is seeking a Director of Sourcing & Supplier Management to provide daily oversight of all supplier engagements, processes, and systems throughout the supplier's lifecycle. This includes supplier sourcing, requests for proposals, supplier selection, contract negotiations, supplier relationship management, and supplier termination or offboarding. The role requires demonstrating best-in-class practices in managing supplier relationships, resolving supplier issues, and monitoring supplier performance. The Director will manage supplier intake with stakeholders on category of spend strategies to ensure alignment with preferred suppliers and overall supplier management strategies. Additionally, the role ensures supplier engagements have a complete cost of ownership and cost model for stakeholders and decision-making, and that supplier contracts align with business requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university in a Business or Finance Related Field
  • 10-15 years of experience leading supplier management, commodity management, or managing categories of spend functions
  • 10-15 years of experience leading Supplier Management functions in the financial services industry
  • 10-15 years of experience directing sourcing and contract life cycle management systems
  • Certifications in Supplier Management, Supply Chain Management, or Commodity Management (e.g., ASCM (APICS), CPSM, CSMP, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • 15 plus years of experience leading supplier management, commodity management, or managing categories of spend functions
  • 15 plus years of experience leading Supplier Management functions in the financial services industry
  • 15 plus years of experience directing sourcing and contract life cycle management systems
  • Additional certifications in project management, stakeholder management, contract negotiations, and the like
  • Additional certifications with Vendor Risk Management, Project Management Office

Responsibilities

  • Directing the personnel, systems, workflows, standards, and processes for the sourcing to contracting lifecycle.
  • Managing a team that supports the organization with the sourcing to contracting lifecycle, ensuring alignment with strategies and organizational goals.
  • Ensuring best-in-class Sourcing and Supplier Management standards are implemented, maintained, and adjusted as necessary to achieve goals and strategies.
  • Providing oversight and direction with contracting, contract negotiations, contracting issues, TCO and cost models to ensure an efficient process and end-user experience.
  • Providing direction and oversight across the Organization with best practices including root cause analysis with supplier management issues and challenges including supplier performance.
  • Establishing and maintaining stakeholder expectations with business leaders and ensuring the team exceeds expectations with delivering services.
  • Establishing and maintaining a category of spend strategy and incorporating it throughout the sourcing to contracting lifecycle that results in reducing our supply base and optimizing our existing suppliers.
  • Ensuring sourcing and supplier management processes, workflows, and standards are aligned with vendor risk, project management, legal, and technology stakeholder requirements.
  • Supporting merger and acquisition activities by aligning supplier bases and achieving cost reductions.
