Director of Security & Transportation
About The Position
Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Director of Security & Transportation position. In this role, you will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight for the community's security, transportation, and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)/Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) operations (where applicable), ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for residents, team members, and visitors. Ensures compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Partners closely with community leadership to align security and transportation initiatives with organizational goals. Fosters a culture of safety, accountability, and professionalism while maintaining the highest standards of resident satisfaction and operational excellence.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 7-10 years of progressively responsible experience in security, law enforcement, emergency services, transportation, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of management experience
- Must possess and maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class B or higher) with passenger endorsement (or obtain within six months of employment)
- Must possess and maintain current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (or obtain within three months of employment)
- This position requires compliance with Florida's Care Provider Background Screening process.

- Minimum of 3 years of passenger or commercial driving experience
