About The Position

The Director of Sales leads strategy and execution for all new home products and services in the designated market. Working closely with Marketing and Sales, this role shapes the vision for growth, drives performance, and ensures exceptional customer experience in alignment with Minto’s brand values.

Requirements

High School diploma required; Post-secondary education an asset.
Minimum 10+ years in New Home Sales & Sales leadership with proven team management experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience an asset.
Exceptional leadership, relationship-building, and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving, diplomacy, and conflict resolution abilities.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective sales strategies, plans, and targets aligned with company goals.
Monitor market trends and seize new sales opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing customers.
Oversee sales centers and model homes’ opening/closing process, ensuring top-tier presentation and compliance.
Drive new initiatives for product design features and revenue streams in partnership with internal teams.
Lead and inspire a talented team of sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
Partner in the recruitment, development, and retention of top-performing sales talent.
Address escalated customer concerns promptly and effectively.
Champion processes ensuring smooth Purchase of Sale to closing.
Achieve revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
Optimize pricing strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining fair market positioning.
Partner with internal departments to manage inventory, develop pricing, and meet strategic objectives.
Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes and customer service delivery.
