About The Position

The Director of Sales – Residential Pest Control is a senior leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, developing scalable sales strategies, and building a high-performance sales culture across the organization. This leader will oversee outside sales operations, manage and develop sales leadership, and ensure consistent execution of sales processes across all markets. This role requires a strategic thinker who can operate both at a high level and in the field—someone who can translate vision into execution, develop leaders, and deliver measurable results.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably in pest control, home services, or a related service industry
  • Proven track record of leading multi-location or regional sales teams and consistently exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence, coach, and develop leaders at multiple levels
  • Demonstrated ability to build scalable systems, processes, and training programs
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and strategic planning abilities
  • Willingness to travel regularly to support field teams and drive engagement

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive residential sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives, market expansion, and profitability targets
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales leaders (Branch Managers, Field Leaders, and Sales Managers) to drive performance and accountability
  • Establish clear sales metrics, KPIs, and reporting structures; monitor performance and take corrective action as needed
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth and process improvement
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, Recruiting, and Training to ensure alignment and execution of company initiatives
  • Build and implement scalable sales processes, playbooks, and training programs to support consistent performance across all locations
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, professionalism, and customer-focused selling
  • Participate in field rides, leadership development, and hands-on coaching to reinforce standards and best practices
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
