About The Position

Voshell’s Pharmacy, an independent compounding pharmacy in Baltimore, specializes in custom therapies and peptides. The Director of Sales will be a key member of the leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO. This role involves owning the sales function, leading the Sales Development Representative (SDR) team, building scalable sales infrastructure, and driving significant revenue growth from $5-6M to $10M in six months and $20M in twelve. The company is also planning for international expansion, positioning this role for future leadership in that initiative. Requirements

  • Proven revenue driver with a verifiable track record of scaling a company or division, accountable for the number.
  • Experienced in leading a sales team through growth and change (e.g., hiring and training).
  • Highly proficient with modern business technology and comfortable in a digital-first environment; able to quickly master new platforms and integrate emerging tools.
  • Makes sound judgment calls in regulated environments without being told; has never operated in gray-area pharmaceutical or healthcare sales.
  • Culture builder who will share credit and invest in the people around you.
  • Action-oriented and self-directed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sales sector.
  • Familiarity with compounding pharmacies.
  • Experience with AI phone systems, data-entry automation, custom provider portals, Apollo, Go High Level, and Airtable.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from strategic prospecting and partnership development to portal activation and prescriber retention.
  • Lead, coach, and hold accountable a growing team of field sales development representatives (SDRs) and inside sales representatives.
  • Build the sales infrastructure from scratch: pipeline stages, follow-up SOPs, onboarding workflows, CRM hygiene, and commission visibility for the team.
  • Forecast demand to operations before incoming account volume creates capacity or cash-flow problems.
  • Operate as a leadership team member, pressure-testing strategy with the CEO, communicating clearly between what sales promises and what operations can deliver.
  • Evaluate each SDR’s strengths and determine whether they belong in prospecting or account management.
