Director of Sales
About The Position
Bathing Brands is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Sales to help lead the next phase of growth across our family of brands. This leadership role will be responsible for developing and executing company-wide sales strategies, expanding market presence, strengthening channel partnerships, and identifying new opportunities for sustainable revenue growth. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of our sales organization while growing alongside a successful and expanding company. We serve a diverse customer base that includes residential consumers, commercial health clubs, spas, wellness facilities, dealers, distributors, and other industry partners throughout North America. The ideal candidate brings a track record of building sales organizations, developing growth strategies, and expanding market share within a manufacturing and distribution environment. This individual must be equally comfortable shaping long-term strategy, leading teams, and driving execution.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including responsibility for sales strategy, revenue growth, business development, and team leadership, preferably within manufacturing, distribution, durable goods, building products, wellness products, consumer products, or related industries.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic growth initiatives while driving day-to-day sales performance.
- Proven success leading and growing high-performing sales teams.
- Experience managing multiple sales channels, including direct sales, dealer networks, distributors, and key accounts.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and growth opportunities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on and execution-focused.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with dealer/distributor networks.
- Background selling into residential, commercial, wellness, hospitality, fitness, or specialty retail markets.
- Experience supporting both B2B and consumer-focused sales strategies.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, forecasting, and sales analytics.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's overall sales strategy and growth initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and develop sales professionals across multiple channels and markets.
- Expand relationships with dealers, distributors, commercial partners, and key accounts.
- Identify opportunities to increase market share and drive revenue growth.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, Product Development, and Executive Leadership.
- Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive activity to guide decision-making.
- Establish sales goals, KPIs, forecasts, and accountability measures.
- Evaluate and improve sales processes, systems, and customer experience.
- Support new product launches and strategic growth initiatives.
- Travel as needed to customers, trade shows, and industry events.
