About The Position

The Director of Sales is a key leadership role responsible for managing and developing the sales team, overseeing sales office policies and procedures, and contributing to the financial management of the sales department. This position involves creating and distributing various sales reports, maintaining proficiency in the Amadeus Delphi system, and interacting with senior leadership and key account customers. The role requires a strong understanding of hospitality sales, excellent management skills, and the ability to drive sales targets and goals.

Requirements

  • Excellent hospitality sales and management skills.
  • Extensive experience managing and leading sales teams.
  • Experience developing and administering hotel/resort sales office policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in the Amadeus Delphi system.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Ability to communicate at the highest levels.

  • Ability to maintain proper associate uniform standards.

Responsibilities

  • Hiring and developing staffing for the Sales department.
  • Assisting in budget preparation and ongoing financial management of the sales department.
  • Creating and distributing weekly Pace, STR, Sales Forecast, and Sales Productivity Reports.
  • Overseeing the resort’s relationship with key account customers, 3rd party agents, and sales and marketing staff.
  • Managing and leading sales teams.
  • Developing and administering hotel/resort sales office policies and procedures.
  • Entertaining clients.
  • Representing the resort publicly to groups.
  • Traveling for sales missions and industry trade shows.
