About The Position

We are seeking a proven commercial leader to drive revenue strategy and performance at Hyatt Centric Wall Street, a high-visibility, full-service lifestyle property in one of the most competitive markets in the country. This is not a maintenance role, but rather a build, reposition, and drive performance role. We’re looking for a leader who can create demand, elevate market presence, and aggressively grow share across all segments.

Requirements

  • Full-service hotel sales leadership experience
  • Strong background in group, corporate, and catering/social sales
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and outperform market
  • Experience in NYC or similar high-demand urban markets
  • Strong collaboration with Revenue Management on strategy and execution
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically
  • Demonstrated success owning and delivering against a commercial number
  • Ability to build demand—not rely on it
  • Strong presence in the market and ability to convert relationships into business
  • A leader who brings energy, urgency, and accountability
  • A hands-on commercial leader who drives results
  • Someone who understands how to sell a lifestyle/experience-driven product

Responsibilities

  • Total revenue strategy across group, corporate, catering, and transient segments
  • Market positioning and demand generation in a highly competitive NYC environment
  • Performance against revenue targets, pace, and share
  • Commercial leadership of the sales function with urgency and accountability
  • Build and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy to drive revenue and share
  • Open new revenue channels and penetrate key NYC demand segments
  • Drive need-period strategy and business mix optimization
  • Grow and deepen account production across corporate, group, and social segments
  • Partner closely with Revenue Management to optimize pricing, forecasting, and inventory
  • Lead proactive sales efforts—this is a field-driven role, not a desk role
  • Establish strong market presence through networking, partnerships, and client engagement
  • Lead, coach, and hold the sales team accountable for performance
