About The Position

Director of Sales Hilton Grand Vacations | Shenandoah Crossing Resort Location: Gordonsville, VA (Greater Charlottesville Area) Position Summary Hilton Grand Vacations is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Director of Sales to lead the vacation ownership sales operations at Shenandoah Crossing Resort. This leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth, maximizing sales performance, developing high-performing sales professionals, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. The Director of Sales will provide strategic direction, coaching, and operational leadership to achieve business objectives while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and success.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in sales management with a track record of driving results.
  • Demonstrated success achieving revenue, profitability, and sales performance goals.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, and team development skills.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing abilities.
  • Ability to analyze sales metrics, identify trends, and implement effective business strategies.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as business needs require.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in vacation ownership, timeshare, hospitality, travel, or a related sales industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience leading large, multi-level sales organizations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Sales Managers and Sales Executives to consistently achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Drive overall sales performance, revenue generation, and profitability for the sales center.
  • Establish clear performance expectations, sales objectives, and accountability measures.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, train, coach, and mentor sales team members.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and development planning discussions.
  • Assist sales professionals with overcoming objections, closing sales, and completing required documentation.
  • Monitor sales production, forecasting, budgets, commissions, and operating expenses to ensure financial targets are achieved.
  • Facilitate individual and group training focused on sales effectiveness, product knowledge, and leadership development.
  • Foster a positive, customer-focused, high-performance sales culture that aligns with Hilton Grand Vacations' values and standards.
  • Analyze sales trends, production reports, and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and applicable employment standards.
  • Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives and drive business results.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the sales floor, providing support, leadership, and motivation to the team.
