About The Position

This role is for a Director of Sales at The Capital Suites Hotel, a sophisticated, extended-stay accommodation in downtown Columbus. The hotel caters to business and leisure travelers with spacious suites and premium amenities. The company, Concert Hospitality, is an independent franchisee of Marriott International, Inc., and operates lifestyle, boutique hotels and restaurants. They focus on creating memorable experiences through personalized service and attention to detail. The Director of Sales will be responsible for crafting a service and delivery experience, driving results-oriented sales strategies, maximizing Hilton's programs, and turning leads into loyal partnerships. The role requires a persuasive communicator with a competitive spirit and experience in sales and catering, preferably from full-service, focused service, or boutique luxury properties. Familiarity with Marriott tools and systems is also mentioned.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales and catering, whether from full-service, focused service, or boutique luxury properties.
  • Persuasive communicator, able to inspire confidence in both internal teams and external partners.
  • Competitive spirit and a clear focus on exceeding your goals.
  • Well-versed in Marriott tools and systems and other Marriott Sales programs.
  • Bachelor's degree helpful or a minimum of two to five years’ experience in sales and marketing roles in a similar sized operation preferred.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per Coury Hospitality grooming standards.
