About The Position

Spring Arbor Albemarle is seeking an experienced Director of Sales to lead sales and outreach efforts within our Assisted Living & Memory Care community. The Director of Sales is responsible for driving and maintaining high occupancy levels within the community through strategic sales, outreach, and relationship-building initiatives. This role oversees all sales and marketing efforts while serving as a key ambassador for the community.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or relationship-based sales
  • Proven success building relationships, generating leads, and closing sales
  • Passion for serving seniors and supporting families through important life transitions
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and energized by community networking
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • Minimum 3–5 years of sales management or business development experience
  • Demonstrated success in relationship-based sales and closing
  • Experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or service-focused industries strongly preferred
  • Must successfully complete Criminal Background Screening
  • Ability to work within a drug-free workplace environment

Responsibilities

  • Present the community to prospective residents and families using relationship-based selling techniques
  • Build and maintain referral relationships within the local healthcare and professional community
  • Support a strong customer service culture by partnering with community associates across departments
  • Coordinate move-ins and move-outs in collaboration with Maintenance and Housekeeping teams
  • Enhance community visibility and reputation through networking, outreach, and public relations efforts
  • Execute strategic sales plans to maximize lead generation, tours, and move-ins
  • Recruit, coach, motivate, and manage Sales & Marketing team members where applicable
  • Manage scheduling and staffing coverage for Sales & Marketing associates as needed
  • Monitor payroll and timekeeping accuracy in partnership with the Business Office Manager
  • Manage sales and marketing budgets within approved guidelines
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
