About The Position

As a Task Force Director of Sales, you will step into various properties to lead sales teams and provide critical short-term and long-term coverage. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, quickly adapting to the unique needs of full-service, luxury, select-service, and boutique properties within the HHM Hotels industry-leading branded and independent collections.

Requirements

  • Four-year college degree required
  • Previous hotel sales experience is required
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, Delphi, and access database tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced coursework in business, marketing, or communications is a plus.
  • Operations experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Marriott and Hilton systems is a significant advantage.
  • Proven experience in public relations and community marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Interview, select, train, and coach associates to ensure they excel in brand standards while living HHM core values.
  • Use internal and external data to develop comprehensive plans that capture all business segments.
  • Understand sales processes to support corporate goals and enhance overall customer value.
  • Identify customer requirements and craft compelling offers that increase the hotel's revenue share.
  • Track sales team objectives and implement corrective actions to stay aligned with the annual marketing plan.
  • Drive the hotel toward annual revenue targets established in the budget.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts to boost customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Use professional sales techniques to secure the best possible terms for both the customer and the hotel.
  • Articulate the unique benefits of each property to successfully close sales opportunities.
  • Manage a current marketing plan with specific, measurable initiatives for every business segment.
  • Model elite selling techniques and commit to the ongoing development of your team and yourself.
  • Develop oral and written presentations that clearly convey recommendations and conclusions.
  • Travel locally during assignments to conduct outside calls, promote the property, and analyze the competition.
