Responsible for demonstrating and promoting SRIM's core value of the Golden Rule by treating others, including residents, families, and associates, in the same way we would like to be treated. This role involves the planning and development of all functions and programs of the sales department with minimal supervision and guidance from the executive director. The position also requires preparing and implementing a quality action plan with approval from the chief marketing officer. Key activities include conducting community tours, initiating and responding to sales calls and prospect inquiries (including e-mails, Facebook questions, and website), and maintaining a positive attitude towards work issues, policies, and procedures. The role emphasizes excellence in customer service, positive and friendly conduct, excellent decision-making skills, clear and timely communication, and effective priority management. The Director of Sales will monitor expenditures weekly to ensure compliance with departmental budgets, demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, and plan and host special sales events. Maintaining an up-to-date inquiry/lead database, reviewing/updating the quarterly action plan, and achieving all occupancy goals are also crucial. Daily visits to all community areas are required to ensure they are clean, safe, and project the appropriate atmosphere. The role is responsible for all closings, processing move-in paperwork, and ensuring approved designs are used in advertisements and marketing collateral. Prompt and courteous response to resident requests for assistance, adherence to policy and procedures in emergency situations, acting as essential personnel during emergencies, and wearing appropriate attire are expected. Compliance with HIPAA regulations and practicing good body mechanics and safe working habits are mandatory. The individual should take initiative, seek additional information, and offer solutions/suggestions, willingly taking on special projects or assignments outside of regular duties.
