About The Position

Bunzl is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic sales professional who excels in a constantly changing and evolving sales environment. This position will lead a team of Sales professionals to ensure program offering and product positioning evolves appropriately to the changing marketplace. The needs of our customers are also evolving in the way they purchase and their expectations of their supply partners. Digital execution, elevated levels of service and a very efficient supply chain and customer experience model that is best in the industry is what we bring to our customers as their minimum expectation. The ideal candidate will be successful by implementing and executing against our jobs to be done for our customers.

Requirements

Minimum 8 years’ experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director
Proven sales executive experience, meeting, or exceeding targets
Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
Drive the sales process from plan to close
Articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
Position products against competitors
Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions
Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
BA/BS degree or equivalent
Ability to travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

Guide, coach and mentor a team of high performing professionals ensuring understanding of progressive, digital go to market strategies.
Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their business needs and objectives
Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
Special projects and participation as required.
