In this role you will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition and expanding existing customer relationships across Carrier, CLEC, Wireless, Cable, UCaaS, CCaaS, CPaaS, and Platform verticals. This role requires a consultative sales professional with strong relationship-building skills, experience selling complex telecom and cloud communications solutions, and a proven ability to identify, develop, and close high-value opportunities. The ideal candidate is strategic, customer-focused, and highly motivated, with experience managing sales pipelines, forecasting revenue, and exceeding sales targets. In this role, you will leverage NUSO's cloud communications and connectivity solutions to deliver customized solutions that generate long-term customer value and revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in Telecom Sales/Carrier Sales Management and has demonstrated a consistent, successful sales track record.
  • Experience in the Telecom industry required.
  • Proven track record selling into Carrier, Wireless, CLEC, Cable, UCaaS, Platform verticals.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell complex solutions involving multi-stakeholder decision-making.
  • Experience selling contractual and usage-based offerings required (demonstrated experience with CCaaS, UCaaS, CPaaS, telecom or networking products is essential).
  • Strong business acumen and consultative selling skills.
  • High level of autonomy, accountability, and a hunter mindset.
  • Experience with negotiating, decision-making, and closing with prospects as well as customers.
  • Flexible self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excited and motivated to drive the growth of a cutting-edge consumer brand.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and excellent written/verbal communication skills who can develop strong relationships with internal and external parties

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, pursue, and close new logo opportunities, while driving upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer base through strategic outreach, prospecting, and targeted campaigns.
  • Develop and execute territory and vertical-specific strategies for Carrier, CLEC, Wireless, Cable, UCaaS, CCaaS, CPaaS, and Platform accounts worldwide.
  • Consult with key stakeholders to understand their needs and position NUSO's solutions as value drivers.
  • Create, negotiate, and close complex contracts that balance both guaranteed and usage-based revenue models.
  • Collaborate with internal solution architects, marketing, and executive teams to support deals and enhance win rates.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline and accurate forecasting using modern sales tools (e.g., CRM, prospecting platforms).
  • Exceed sales targets for contracted annual revenue and usage-based revenue, ensuring consistent overperformance and quota attainment.
