Manages the daily activities of assigned employees to ensure timely and effective sales, delivery, and service to all assigned accounts. Spends 50-70% of the time on the trade: training and monitoring assigned employees and calling on accounts on a regular basis. Maintains and strives to improve customer relations and goodwill through ensuring adequate service by subordinates; through personal attention to opportunity areas and through trade visits with major accounts. Identifies trends/changes in market and monitors competitive activity and informs Company management of all relevant issues to include pricing, packaging and promotions. Participates in special events –i.e. - Rodeo, Ethnic events, Brewery events, etc. Makes sales calls on licensed accounts (including non-buyers) in assigned business channel. Works closely with Area Sales Manager and Sales Specialists to sell non-buyers. Ensures efficient route sequencing.
