About The Position

The newly renovated Embassy Suites Franklin Cool Springs is looking for a Director of Sales & Marketing to take the reins of a 250-room, all-suite hotel with 15,000+ sq. ft. of meeting space in one of the fastest-growing markets just outside Nashville. This role requires an individual who can lead sales where Southern charm meets serious revenue potential, capturing business from corporate demand to a thriving events scene. Backed by Atrium Hospitality, the Director will have the autonomy to drive strategy, the support to grow their career, and the platform to turn a strong asset into a market leader. This is an opportunity for a builder, a closer, and a leader who knows how to win.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hotel sales leadership experience
  • Track record of exceeding sales goals
  • Experience with all major market segments (Group, Transient, Social Events)
  • Proficiency in sales systems like Delphi.fdc/CI/TY and ProfitSword
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of Sales and Event professionals—guiding performance, coaching growth, and ensuring alignment with Atrium’s core values.
  • Drive revenue by generating new group leads and building strong client relationships through proactive outreach, site visits, and negotiations.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and Director of Revenue Management to shape the hotel’s pricing and inventory strategies as part of the Revenue Strategy Team.
  • Act as the property’s marketing lead—owning the look, feel, and message across social media, digital, print, and third-party sites (unless a shared services team supports the property).
  • Provide financial oversight of the sales department, including budgeting, forecasting, and participating in financial reviews.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with Enterprise Sales and stay involved in the community to enhance hotel visibility and partnerships.
