About The Position

KRS Aerospace Elastomeric Solutions is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Sales & Engineering to lead our commercial and engineering functions supporting advanced aerospace sealing solutions. This leadership role is responsible for driving business growth, expanding market presence, and ensuring alignment between customer requirements, engineering capabilities, and production execution. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in shaping business strategy, leading technical innovation, and strengthening our presence in aerospace and defense markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum five (5) years of leadership experience in sales, engineering, business development, or product management within manufacturing or aerospace environments
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and driving business growth
  • Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and meet applicable export control requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or elastomeric product manufacturing
  • Experience managing both technical and commercial teams
  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company growth and profitability objectives
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and customer relationships
  • Establish sales forecasts, performance targets, and growth plans
  • Lead customer engagement, contract discussions, and strategic account development
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity
  • Lead and support engineering teams responsible for product development and technical solutions
  • Drive innovation in elastomeric sealing technologies and aerospace applications
  • Ensure engineering efforts align with customer requirements and organizational priorities
  • Support successful transition of new products from development into production
  • Build, mentor, and develop high-performing sales and engineering teams
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Support talent development, succession planning, and organizational growth
  • Collaborate with operations and finance to align sales forecasts with production capacity
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders
  • Represent the organization at customer meetings, industry events, and technical discussions
