As the Director of Sales, East, you will play a pivotal role in driving our success by leading our sales efforts across a dynamic region. You will collaborate closely with various departments, ensuring implementation of sales strategies to meet and exceed targets. This is an outstanding opportunity to develop the future of our sales operations and build lasting relationships with key customers. This role will be fully remote as you will be traveling to customer sites regularly. You must live on the East Coast to be considered.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of sales experience in the gaming industry, including 5+ years in field sales and/or sales leadership.
  • Ability to exceed sales targets with a strong customer-focused, solution-selling approach.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office, and related efficiency tools.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize independently or as part of a team.
  • Professional presence with a collaborative, forward-thinking approach.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain gaming licensure and maintain confidentiality.
  • Must live on the East Coast to be considered.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the job posting location for this position on a full-time basis without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop sales and support staff to achieve revenue and profit goals.
  • Lead and drive new business development in key regions, including Maine, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio (these may change as we establish new regions).
  • Make final decisions on sales deals within established guidelines, ensuring compliance and profitability.
  • Direct staffing, training, and performance management in accordance with company standards.
  • Develop and handle annual financial plans in collaboration with key collaborators.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity, recommending and implementing effective sales programs.
  • Develop and maintain connections with important customers, uncovering new business opportunities.
  • Assist sales representatives with organizational skills, account strategies, and territory planning.
  • Facilitate weekly sales forecasting and reporting.
  • Participate in sales orientation and training programs for new representatives.
