Requirements

  • Keen Knowledge of PMS and Revenue Management Systems (Opera, Duetto, Delphi etc.)
  • Ability to Build Tools and Spreadsheets for Analysis and Presentation Purposes
  • Ability to Analyze Demand 360, Agency 360, Rate 360 and Revenue Strategy 360 and Make Conclusions/Recommendations
  • Ability to Lead Meetings
  • Ability to Present in Owners, P&L Meetings, Staff Meetings etc.
  • Able to Work in a Team Environment
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Hotel and Competitive Market Knowledge
  • Ability to Analyze Data and Develop Action Plans
  • Attention to Detail
  • Able to Travel Occasionally, as Requested
  • Able to Work Nights, Weekend and Holidays When Business Needs Dictate.
  • Able to Work in a Fast Paced, Stressful Environment
  • Three (3) to five (5) Years in a Revenue Management managerial position in a Luxury Brand, Luxury Independent Hotel or Full Service Hotel.

Responsibilities

  • With DOSM, conduct Daily Business Reviews with Sales Team (DBR), to support alignment of Rate Strategy and Group/Catering Placement
  • Review Cut-off Dates for Groups Weekly
  • Review all RFP’s to Ensure Appropriate Room Category and Rates are Set Correctly, TBD Set Seasonally Rates
  • Conduct a Weekly Revenue Sales Strategy Meeting. Attendees: GM, DOSM, DOF, BT-Manager and Group Manager)
  • Agenda for the Sales Strategy Meeting, to include review of weekly STAR, Demand360, Rate360pick up focusing on 30-60-90 and highlighting anything within the following year, Group Cut-Offs, Group Pace, Rate Changes, Comp Set Trends, H360, BT Production, New Promotions/Packages
  • Send STAR Weekly/Monthly Recaps to all Stakeholders
  • ME Reports & Recaps
  • With DOSM, define Black Out Dates and ensure Inventory is Protected and Rate Strategies are in Place.
  • At the End of Each Month, Ensure Pricing is Set for the Following Year
  • Review Rebates and Commissions
  • Monitor Other Revenue (No-Shows, Early/Late Departures, Upgrades)
  • Review Daily Revenue Reports from Finance and Compare to Revenue Reports
  • Check and validate all OTA Promotions
  • Assist in Annual Marketing Plan and Strategy
  • Contract with OTA’s, as well as Audit Appropriate Image Assets tied to Room Categories
  • Participate in Monthly/Quarterly Owners Presentation
  • Sending Updated Daily Pick-Up Reports
  • Review Pick-Up and Space
  • Updating Rates and Availability
  • 14 Day OPS forecast
  • Rolling 30-60-90 Day (to be completed monthly)
  • Yearly Budget
  • Loading New Rates
  • Building and Loading Packages
  • Auditing Systems
  • Auditing Web Sites
  • Spot Check Published Rates and Room Types
  • Ensure there is Parity Across All Channels
  • Ensuring Availability is Visible through all Channels
