HALL Arts Hotel is seeking a Director of Restaurants to lead their dining operations. This role is for someone who believes in the importance of exceptional food, flawless service, and genuine hospitality. Requirements

  • Previous restaurant management experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, steps of service, safety regulations, and compliance procedures.
  • Ability to inspect dining rooms, bars, and back-of-house spaces with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with team members, culinary leaders, and other hotel departments.
  • Strong organizational, financial-management, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to train, coach, motivate, and support team members.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and move throughout the shift across dining rooms, kitchens, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Ability to work in restaurant dining areas, bars, lounges, kitchens, storage spaces, and service corridors.
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move items such as trays, dishes, glassware, supply boxes, and restaurant furniture.
  • Ability to handle food, beverages, and service equipment safely and according to health and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume dining environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous multi-outlet or director-level leadership experience preferred.
  • Hotel, resort, or luxury hospitality experience preferred.
  • Wine, spirit, or food safety certifications (such as ServSafe or Sommelier credentials) preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Leading, coaching, and supporting Restaurant Managers, Supervisors, and Service Curators.
  • Overseeing daily operations across multiple dining outlets to ensure service excellence, efficiency, and brand standards.
  • Designing and executing exceptional guest experiences, from daily dining to curated activations and special events.
  • Training, mentoring, and developing the team on proper hospitality techniques, menu knowledge, safety standards, and guest service expectations.
  • Assisting the team during busy periods, connecting with guests, and problem-solving during high-volume service.
  • Partnering with the culinary team and Executive Chef to align menu execution, guest preferences, and kitchen timing.
  • Managing financial performance, labor productivity, inventory control, and supply ordering.
  • Creating a positive, inclusive team environment where staff feel supported and respected.
  • Focusing on behind-the-scenes details that enhance the guest experience.
