Director of Resiliency Center
About The Position
The Director of the Resiliency Center is responsible for developing and overseeing crisis and community support operations in the Resiliency Center. The Director will oversee the administrative, clinical, and operational functions of the program including shift scheduling and management, coordinating program activities, and supervision of the staff. The Director will work to gather data and input from community members, guests, and clients to ensure that the needs are being met by the programming. Ideal candidate will possess strong skills in the following categories: leadership, program development, crisis management, communication and clinical. The director will be heavily involved in future planning for upcoming crisis stabilization program.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field required
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) required
- 2-5 years of experience working with clients (across the life span) in crisis
- 2 years of supervisory experience
- Advanced oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong ability to be flexible with workflow and day-to-day activities
Nice To Haves
- Experience with program development preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee sustainable crisis and community support programming at Josselyn
- Provide oversight, supervision and management of peer specialists and crisis therapists
- Ensure that program shifts are properly and efficiently covered by adequate staffing
- Work to gather data and input from community members, guests, and clients to ensure that the needs are being met by the programming.
- Oversee function and budgeting for Resiliency programming
- Participate in future programming of upcoming crisis stabilization programming
- Partake in future planning for crisis programming with a focus on child and adolescent crisis programming which includes hiring additional team members
- Foster relationships with community resources and participate in community related activities
- Represent the Center with integrity, abide by the ethical statement of the Center and protect confidentiality
- Proficiency with confidentiality, client rights, safety, and infection control, incident and sentinel event reporting and personnel policies
