The Mishkon IDD Programs at The Jewish Board provide supports and services in a healthy and safe environment for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities living in residential programs and in community settings. This is all accomplished through an Orthodox Jewish lens, and with an understanding that staff, at all levels of the division, is the determination factor in achieving positive outcomes for our clients. The Director of Residential Services provides strategic and operational leadership for the agency’s Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF) and/or Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRAs) serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role oversees all residential and administrative functions to ensure high-quality, person-centered care, regulatory compliance, and efficient program operations. The Director of Residential Services supervises a team that includes Assistant Director(s), Sr. Residence Manager(s), Residence Managers, and works in collaboration with the Residential Coordinator to promote accountability, staff development, and continuous improvement. As a key member of the leadership team, the Director partners with clinical, medical, quality assurance, and facilities departments to ensure integrated service delivery. The director also serves as a primary liaison between families, guardians, and oversight agencies, maintaining a strong focus on outcomes and resident well-being.
