Northern Children's Services is seeking a Director of Residential Programs, an executive leadership role reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This position is responsible for the strategic, operational, and programmatic direction of three distinct residential programs serving youth and young adults. All programs are grounded in a trauma-informed approach. Two programs are state-licensed group foster care homes (Generations I and Crossroads) with Specialized Settings designation, and one is a prevention program (Generations II). These programs are primarily funded through public monies, requiring rigorous regulatory compliance, performance benchmarking, and reporting. This executive leadership position demands strategic thinking, operational discipline, data and financial fluency, regulatory accountability, and the ability to foster a high-performing program culture. The Director is a member of the Executive Leadership Team, contributing to organization-wide strategy, cross-departmental collaboration, and the development of Northern's culture, values, and goals, while leading the Residential Programs with ownership of outcomes. The Director supervises program staff, including Outcomes Specialists, a Case Coordinator, and a Residential Support Aide Supervisor, overseeing the full supervision structure across all three programs and all shifts.
