About The Position

As a leading care provider for elders through our residential care services and community-based PACE program that keeps people connected in the community, and our grant-making foundation that supports affordable housing with services, workforce development and quality of life. The Director of Residential Services will manage the clinical operations of the Assisted Living facility and provide care and wellness services to the residents. Reporting to the Assisted Living/Sr. Housing Director, this position requires the incumbent to promote the McGregor values of Respect, Community, Trust, and Impact in all duties, responsibilities, and interactions.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved nursing, diploma, associate degree, or baccalaureate program.
Registered Nurse with three to five years of management experience.
Active RN licensed by the State of Ohio.
Knowledge of Point Click Care and Assisted Living regulations.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and basic internet and email capabilities.

Assisted Living experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Direct the clinical operations of a 90-bed Residential Care facility.
Assess the conditions of the residents, devise and implement an individual service plan.
Serves as an Infection Preventionist, creates policies and practices to prevent nosocomial infections.
Provides clinical oversight to staff nurses, medication aides, and nursing assistants.
Manage budgets and financial plans and controls expenditure.
Create training materials and employee development plans.
Supervise and evaluate all direct resident care and initiate corrective action as necessary.
