About The Position
Aegis Therapies, a leading provider of rehabilitation and wellness services, is hiring a Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) for their Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) setting in League City, TX. This full-time, salaried position involves overall responsibility for the clinical quality, integrity, service excellence, financial, and operational viability of the rehabilitation program. The role includes planning, developing, implementing, and monitoring clinical services, documentation, billing, and customer relations. The Director of Rehab will also identify growth opportunities, evaluate employee performance, and lead their therapy team to success. This management leadership role offers the stability of corporate support and the autonomy to shape the therapy department.
Requirements
- Possess and maintain a current license in the state of practice; Physical Therapy / Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapy / Occupational Therapy Assistant, or Speech-Language Pathology program.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a treating therapist or therapy assistant.
- Minimum 3 years of experience preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of therapy management experience.
- Currently Credentialed Documentation Auditor (CDA) or ability to become credentialed within six (6) months.
Responsibilities
- Ensure overall clinical quality, integrity, service excellence, financial and operational viability of the rehabilitation program.
- Ensure client and company expectations are met.
- Plan, develop, implement, and monitor appropriate provision, documentation, billing of clinical services and customer relations.
- Identify and implement growth opportunities across the CCRC community.
- Evaluate effectiveness of employees and ongoing programs.
