Responsibilities include conducting and overseeing highly advanced rehabilitation activities in an inpatient psychiatric mental health environment. The Rehabilitation Director is tasked with supervising and executing the development, implementation, and administration of all rehabilitation programs. Additionally, the Rehabilitation Director reviews the policy and procedure manual along with individual information materials. They actively participate as a collaborative member in various councils, teams, and committees. Furthermore, they will manage and supervise a skilled workforce that is proficient in delivering exceptional, recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and person-centered care. Operates with moderate latitude and freedom to exercise personal initiative and make independent judgments. Performs other duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned include actively participating and/or serving in a supporting role to meet the agency’s obligations for disaster response and/or recovery or Continuity of Operations (COOP) activation. Such participation may require an alternate shift pattern assignment and/or location.
