About The Position

PAM Health is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to take the next step in their career as a Director of Rehabilitation. This leadership role involves leading rehabilitation services, delivering exceptional patient outcomes, combining clinical expertise with team development, program growth, and patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Current PT, OT, or SLP license in the state where the hospital is located.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous experience in an inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, or hospital setting preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance clinical responsibilities with administrative and operational priorities.
• Passion for developing teams and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services.
• Develop, manage, and evaluate rehabilitation programs to support quality patient outcomes.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and develop rehabilitation staff.
• Provide clinical leadership and maintain a defined percentage of direct patient care.
• Develop and monitor department budgets and identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
• Support quality assurance, performance improvement, and risk management initiatives.
• Monitor department performance, productivity, and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, case management, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Promote a positive culture focused on teamwork, employee engagement, and exceptional patient care.
• Support marketing and business development efforts to promote rehabilitation services and program growth.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, licensing, and organizational requirements.
