About The Position

The Director of Regional Field Sales - Central will support Dallas, Fort Worth, Gulf Coast, Houston, Memphis, Nashville, Oklahoma, and South Texas. This role requires the individual to live within the Central Region, with relocation assistance available, if applicable. The role involves ensuring the successful implementation and execution of sales strategy, analyzing performance, and developing recommendations for follow-up actions. It also includes conducting post-mortem assessments after major selling seasons and events to improve future performance. The Director will lead and mentor a team of sales managers, fostering a high-performance culture to achieve sales targets, and influence Regional Vice Presidents and the regional leadership team to adopt sales-driving behaviors. The position oversees the implementation of the sales strategy across all retail locations within the region, ensuring consistent and effective execution, and delivers market-specific and operational tactics to support success. The role involves interacting with store teams to analyze customer purchasing patterns and their impact on store-specific performance, providing insights, and recommending courses of action. Additionally, the Director will inform the structural components needed to fill gaps and enable sales strategy execution, including training, role design, communication, marketing, and engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or relevant discipline
  • 5-7 years experience in Retail Sales, Customer Relations

Responsibilities

  • Ensure successful implementation and execution of sales strategy.
  • Identify barriers to enable store execution and advocate for tools and resources that will build sales capabilities.
  • Analyze the performance of sales strategies and develop recommendations for follow-up actions.
  • Conduct post-mortem assessments after major selling seasons and events to improve performance.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales managers, fostering a high-performance culture that influences store leaders to achieve sales targets.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, support, and development to the sales team.
  • Influence Regional Vice Presidents and Regional leadership team to adopt behaviors that drive sales.
  • Oversee the implementation of the sales strategy across all retail locations within the region, ensuring consistent and effective execution.
  • Deliver market-specific and operational tactics to support success.
  • Interact with stores team to analyze what customers are purchasing and how store-specific performance is impacted.
  • Provide insights and perspectives on findings and recommend course of action based on results of field and customer analysis.
