About The Position
The Program Director is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, organization, evaluation, continuous assessment, and accreditation of the Radiologic Technology Program. The Program Director ensures compliance with JRCERT Standards, institutional policies, state and federal regulations, and professional practice standards while promoting student and program success.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a related field from a regionally accredited institution
- 3 years’ clinical experience in the professional discipline
- 2 years’ experience as an instructor in a JRCERTaccredited program
- Demonstrated proficiency in curriculum design, curriculum evaluation, instruction, program administration, academic advising, outcomes assessment, and JRCERT accreditation standards and processes.
- Holds current certification and registration in Radiography through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and possesses an unrestricted Louisiana radiographer license (LSRTBE).
- RRT Certification and Registration in Radiography, R.T.(R)(ARRT)
- Current certification and registration in Radiography
- Louisiana State Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (LSRTBE) License
- Current unrestricted Louisiana Radiographer License

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Assure effective program operations
- Oversee ongoing program accreditation and assessment processes
- Assume the leadership role in the continued development of the program.
- Maintain current knowledge of the professional discipline and educational methodologies through continuing professional development
- Participate in budget planning
- Participate in didactic and/or clinical instruction, as appropriate
