Fauquier Health is a 97-bed acute care hospital offering surgical services (including robotics), a 24-hour Emergency Department, extensive medical imaging capabilities, an Intensive Care Unit and much more. The Fauquier Health system offers patient care for a variety of specialty services including Orthopedics and Spine, a Cardiac Catheterization Lab, and robotic-assisted surgery. The fourth floor of the hospital is devoted to our Family Birthing Center and Intermediate Care Nursery. Requirements

  • Current Virginia state or compact state RN license (for compact licensure, Virginia licensure must be obtained within 60 days of hire).
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 7 days of hire.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or Healthcare Administration is required.
  • At least 5 years experience in Acute Care setting.
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience.
  • At least 1 year of project management/quality improvement experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of all quality and process improvement initiatives to include monitoring quality metrics at unit level.
  • Oversees regulatory readiness through assessment and implementation of quality measures to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
  • Evaluates and identifies opportunities for process improvement in patient care to provide superior quality outcomes.
  • Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
