About The Position

The Director of Property Operations is responsible for the safety, functionality, and operational excellence of the hotel property while supporting memorable guest experiences. The role oversees facility operations and maintenance, property improvements, daily department operations, and team engagement.

Responsibilities

• Direct the functionality, safety, and regulatory compliance of the hotel’s buildings, mechanical and electrical systems, HVAC, life safety systems, and grounds.
• Conduct facility inspections, maintain documentation for energy management and conservation programs, and oversee preventive maintenance initiatives.
• Lead capital projects and property rehabilitations, including scheduling, budgeting, contractor bidding, and licensing and permitting, while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Direct daily department operations, including guest service initiatives, product quality, inventory management, budgeting, forecasting, and adherence to industry standards.
• Promote team engagement and retention through performance management, professional development, and recognition programs.
