About The Position

Swish Analytics is seeking a Director of Project Management to build the operational backbone for coordinated delivery across the company. This is a build role focused on establishing how work is planned, prioritized, tracked, and delivered, leading cross-functional programs essential for company-wide initiatives. As a senior leadership hire, you will lead the PMO, set functional standards, and collaborate directly with founders and department heads. Success will be measured by the organization's predictable and visible execution against its goals, emphasizing practical application over process for its own sake.

Requirements

  • Experience building or substantially rebuilding a program management function, not just running projects within an existing system.
  • Experience owning large programs that spanned multiple engineering and technical organizations with accountability for delivery across boundaries.
  • Ability to build systems for adoption, understanding that simple, adopted processes are more effective than comprehensive, ignored ones.
  • Experience operating as a peer with department heads and founders, contributing to prioritization decisions and influencing without formal authority.
  • Sound judgment under pressure, ability to escalate cleanly, navigate competing priorities and organizational friction with maturity, and identify worthwhile battles.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in sports, sports betting, fintech, or real-time data environments.
  • Background scaling a program management team through rapid company change.
  • Familiarity with the Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence) and lightweight automation.

Responsibilities

  • Direct ownership of cross-functional programs spanning Trading, Engineering, Data Science, and Data Engineering, including dependencies, sequencing, risk management, and tradeoff decisions.
  • Own and evolve frameworks for company-wide planning and execution, including intake, prioritization, change management, project lifecycle, definition of done, and release cadence.
  • Establish cadence, instrumentation, and reporting for work visibility from company strategy to individual execution, surfacing risks early and making reprioritization a deliberate decision.
  • Partner with department heads to raise delivery discipline across all teams through influence and demonstrated value.
  • Lead, develop, and grow the PMO, setting behavioral and craft standards, coaching, and calibrating the team.

Benefits

  • Base salary starting at $190,000 +
