About The Position

Mission Technologies is looking for a Director to support the Cyber and Intelligence Business Unit. The HII Director manages multiple Program Managers and personnel as assigned in support of US Government customers and their activities within Department of Defense (DoD). The Director is responsible for achieving business goals and growth targets, developing assigned personnel, serves as the primary point of contact of HII to assigned customers, and directly contributes to the definition and implementation of company strategy within the Cyber and Intelligence portfolio. The successful candidate will have significant experience leading teams in complex, mission-critical Cybersecurity projects. The candidate will be goal-oriented with a history of driving innovation and skillfully working across large organizations to build consensus and support. Requirements

  • 10 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in DoD related field; or 8 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Ability to get along with others while working in a fast paced, collaborative team environment is essential. A leader that drives successful results with and through others.

  • Managed multiple Program or Project Managers and FTE counts in excess of 100.
  • Must have Top-Secret clearance with SCI.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of 15 years of professional experience, with a demonstrated progression of responsibilities.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience supporting DoD contracts (either active duty or as a contractor).
  • A minimum of 6 years of management/leadership experience in a programmatic or organizational capacity.
  • Strong experience and understanding of managing teams in the cybersecurity domain.
  • Depth and breadth of expertise and understanding the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) and its subordinate organizations.
  • Knowledge of numerous Portfolio Acquisition Executives/Mission Execution Directorates, Technical Capability Directorates, and other USAF organizations located at Hanscom Air Force Base.
  • Ability to travel CONUS

Responsibilities

  • Develop and guide initiatives that improve our value to customers.
  • Senior-level leadership ensuring achievement of performance and financial goals for assigned programs/contracts.
  • Ensure adequate and timely staffing of all programs/contracts and professional development of all assigned personnel. Conduct individual performance assessments and successor planning.
  • Maintain close contact with customers, CORs and Contracting Officers as required to make requisite and timely adjustments to programs (managers, staff, priorities, and deliverables). Changes in scope or funding will be coordinated with the appropriate HII contract, subcontract, or finance representative.
  • Lead people, programs while working closely with our customers to meet mission needs.
  • Work with all functional departments as required to ensure continued customer satisfaction, compliance with corporate policies and standards, and to maintain high ethical standards.
