About The Position

Gen is hiring a Director of Product Management to lead strategy and execution across MoneyLion’s Consumer Marketplace — spanning mobile, web, and owned-and-operated (O&O) surfaces — and to help scale cross-brand Marketplace experiences across Gen’s broader portfolio (Norton, Avast, LifeLock, and others). This is a senior leadership role with full strategic ownership of the Consumer Marketplace. You will drive revenue growth, expand our core financial product verticals, evolve personalization and marketplace intelligence systems, and shape how Marketplace is distributed across first-party and enterprise surfaces. Initially you will operate as a hands-on strategic leader; as you ramp, you will grow and lead a team of PMs across Marketplace workstreams. You will be a key partner to Engineering (NY + KL), Analytics, Design, PMM, Lifecycle Marketing, and the Enterprise Engine organization, and you will shape the Marketplace AI agenda over the next several years. MoneyLion, now part of Gen, is a leading financial marketplace and consumer finance platform. We power millions of consumer financial decisions — from credit cards and personal loans to banking and investing — through our mobile, web, and enterprise-distributed Marketplace surfaces. Our Consumer Marketplace team builds the personalization, marketplace, and experience systems that connect consumers with the right financial product at the right moment, and scales those systems across Gen’s broader family of brands.

  • Deep experience in marketplace dynamics, personalization, acquisition funnels, and conversion optimization.
  • Strong technical fluency (APIs, backend systems, event pipelines, experimentation frameworks, data architecture).

  • Strong analytical abilities; SQL proficiency preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to scale PM teams — hiring, mentoring, and setting standards for PM craft.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and executive-level stakeholder management skills.
  • Senior leader who operates with high autonomy and a strong bias for action; comfortable being the most experienced PM in the room and owning outcomes end-to-end.
  • Player-coach orientation — willing to be hands-on now, with the discipline to build and lead a team as scope grows.
  • Strategic and pragmatic — able to move between long-term Marketplace architecture and week-by-week execution detail.
  • Scrappy and relentlessly customer-driven, with a track record of driving clarity through ambiguity.
  • Sees AI as a core teammate — leverages it to move faster and multiply team leverage.
