Director of Product Design
About The Position
Endor Labs is seeking a highly motivated and versatile Director of Product Design to join their startup. This role involves building products at the intersection of cyber-security and software development to disrupt the Application Security market. The ideal candidate will have full-stack experience spanning user research, interaction design, and visual design, with demonstrable results in delivering delightful security and developer experiences via a SaaS service. The position will involve owning the design of core user journeys, collaborating with engineering and product teams, bringing clarity to complex user experiences, creating and maintaining a visual language, and working closely with the Head of Design to evolve design principles. A key aspect of the role is ensuring users intuitively understand how to use the product.
Requirements
- Strong portfolio that demonstrates both visual polish and UX depth.
- Passion for building products that are intuitive, beautiful and a joy to use
- 4-8+ years experience as a Product Designer in a similar role.
- Experience working closely with engineers and understanding implementation constraints
- Proven ability to operate autonomously
- Self-starter: You can take ownership of an area and deliver beyond expectations.
- Take pride in your craft: You set a high bar for yourself and those around you; you’re meticulous about the details without losing sight of the big picture
Nice To Haves
- Experience building developer-centric and/or cybersecurity centric product experiences.
- Experience in designing self-service workflows for rapid product adoption, and product-led growth strategy.
Responsibilities
- Own the design of core user journeys across the product, from initial flows to polished UI
- Collaborate with engineering and product to implement new features and refine existing ones
- Bring clarity to complex user experiences as our product elves and scales
- Create and maintain a clean, modern visual language inspired
- Work closely with our Head of Design to articulate and evolve Endor design principles
- Ensuring that users know what to do without needing to be told
