The Director of Player Development will exemplify Muckleshoot Casino Resort’s values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism. This role involves practicing, supporting, and promoting the Vision, Mission Statements, and Core Values of the Muckleshoot Casino Resort. The Director will assist the Chief Marketing Officer in providing strategic leadership for Player Development operations and the development/implementation of departmental strategies, ensuring alignment with brand service strategy and initiatives. The position requires planning, implementing, and overseeing all Player Development operations, including day-to-day operations and collaborations with other departments to improve the overall guest experience and satisfaction. The Director will hire, train, evaluate, and direct player development staff, ensuring they receive adequate guidance and resources. This role involves assessing and improving existing initiatives, devising new strategies to increase revenue, and collaborating with executive leadership to ensure alignment with organizational strategic goals. Researching, assessing, and analyzing marketing industry trends, new products/branding, and regulatory updates is also a key responsibility. The Director will ensure organizational compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, standards, and internal controls, and ensure consistent delivery of Muckleshoot Casino Resort’s hospitality/guest experience standards. Formulating and operating within annual operating and capital budgets, contributing to team effort, and fostering a results-oriented culture are essential. The role includes establishing and implementing player development programs to build and retain player loyalty, increase visitations, revenue, and market share. The Director will establish, implement, and evaluate comp policies, campaigns, programs, entertainment activities, and marketing expenditures. Assessing the patron management database, including player ratings, theoretical and actual win/loss, comps privileges, and direct marketing activities, is crucial for profitability. Implementing off-property promotional programs and functions as needed, and promoting compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies are also key duties. The Director will promote and participate in mentoring, leadership, and tribal development programs, and create, maintain, and facilitate a positive and safe work environment. The role requires smiling, engaging guests, team members, and vendors with a professional and friendly demeanor, and performing additional job duties as required and assigned.
