About The Position

Director of Player Development will assist with development of our student-athletes. Recruiting, retaining and developing high-achieving student athletes is imperative to the success of the Men's Basketball program and in turn the overall success of the athletics department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree of equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work effectively with student-athletes, coaches, administrators and staff

Nice To Haves

  • Collegiate or professional athletics experience
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruiting, retaining and developing Student-Athletes
  • Aids in creating plans and programs for individual and team skill development
  • Works with student athletes in on-court settings to build and develop basketball skill
  • Provides administrative, instructional and coaching assistance to the Head Coach.
  • Fosters meaningful relationships and building trust with student-athletes, coordinating and implementing programs and initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned by head coach.
